Our Founder

Margie Campbell

She has 15 years experience working with At-Risk youth. She worked with programs such as “The New Start in Life” Family Counseling and Crisis Intervention. Assisted in parenting programs, S.A.C.A.R.E.D. a substance abuse workshop, coordinated after school programs, numerous, youth outings, and is currently mentoring 25-30 girls in her Live 4 Life program.

As a mother of four children she learned first hand the importance of education and finishing what you start, by teaching her children it’s never to late, and graduated from college in 2003 with a Degree in Business and has since received Social Service Technician Registration in the field of Social Work.
Exercise and healthy life choices has been a constant in Margie’s life which is why after many years as a Youth Director and Sunday School Teacher, God lead her to establish “Live 4 Life”, a non-profit organization which teaches young women about AIDS awareness, abstinence and healthy life choices. She realizes that this is a very important assignment and takes it very seriously.
Margie has been awarded “The Spirit of Detroit Award” for outstanding leadership and dedication to improving the quality of life. She has been given a “Certificate of Appreciation” from Wayne County Commissioner Jewel Ware for hard work and outstanding participation in the “Heavenly Connection Youth Outreach Ministries” and many volunteer certificates for hard work and valuable achievements from organizations like Joy of Jesus. God has blessed her with a mission to see lives change.

Mae Conley

Mae has over 20 years of working with the U.S. Postal Service. Mae and her co-workers founded the Mothers and Daughters’ program out of a need to enhance character and integrity which was birthed, during intense conversations of “raising daughters”. In 2006, the Mothers and Daughters program merged with Live for Life HIV/AIDs Awareness Program.

Mae has a passion for helping. During the summer months Mae works with the Child Evangelism program hosting summer bible lessons for children and youth; adding additional crafts and bible stories to her grandchildren and friends. She was the editor of Converge Magazine and the special edition called “The Spiritual End.” She loves nature; reading, writing, sports and traveling. Mae is also a certified Travel Agent and as she plans to retire from the U.S. Postal Service, she will continue traveling and working in the ministry.
